Lisa Maybank School of Dance started 38 years ago and is generally recognised for the large amount of students that have gone onto full time vocational colleges. We have had many pupils go on to The Royal Ballet School senior and junior schools and Associate programmes, English National Ballet, Central School of Ballet, Elmhurst, Rambert, Tring, London Studio Centre, Millennium, London Contemporary, Laban, YDA and many more.

Also dancing with National Youth Ballet, English Youth Ballet, Kent Youth Ballet, Elite Ballet Project and local Pantomimes.

We try to train every pupil to be the very best that they can be at the same time instilling a deep love and passion for all forms of dance and music.

We teach Royal Academy of Dance Ballet from Cygnets right up to Advanced 2, Contemporary, Jazz and Tap. 

​

In 2013 we moved into the most beautiful, purpose built studio complex. We have 3 large studios, all with sprung floors, mirrors, fixed barres, air conditioning, ventilation and sound systems. We have a homework room, kitchen, girls and boys changing rooms a photographic studio and 2 of the studios turn into a theatre for performances with raised seating.
